Good day, all!

The new year is here and I want to put a call out to all members about paying dues for the year.

The annual dues are $20.00 and can be paid to Brenden Kettner, our illustrious treasurer.  The dues help pay for repairing current equipment or purchasing new items.  Most importantly, it helps pay for outgoing QSL cards.  Postage isn't cheap... well, sort of.  However, we are receiving more and more QSL cards, and it is customary to send one back.  Paying dues will also get you the combination to the shack.  No dues, no combo.  It's an incentive of sorts...

The station has been performing well, but sadly we don't have many members coming by to operate.  Currently we have HF and VHF available.  As we get time to identify cables on the tower, we will have more frequencies to play with.  That is pretty much why we haven't hooked up the rest of the radio gear.  I plan on bringing in a KAM+ multimode controller, so we can do digital modes.  I will also be bringing in (when I finally remember) an 80M dipole, so we can get on lower frequencies and have some more antenna options.  More to follow.
