Good morning,

The station is on the air!  Dave Rice/KB1NDE (with his little harmonics) & Brenden Kettner/KD8JCH were able to check into the Coast Guard Amateur Radio Net (http://www.w5cgc.org) and make contact with Net Control (Dick Anderson/KE7A) as well as many other stations that checked into the net.  Tim Harris/W6RMC & myself KB6YNO were also able to check into the net, but couldn't hear the station on groundwave.  Brenden was able to check in with W6NMC from his vehicle.  The antenna was stuck facing south because we don't have the controller for the rotor!  Bummer.  Hopefully, we'll have a dipole strung up by the time the station comes back on the air for the next net.
